There are not enough stars to accurately reflect what Kathy and her team deserve. I have the good fortune of being in real estate as an appraiser and have had communication with dozens upon dozens of agents over the years. I've worked with a handful of them on various purchase and sale transactions as both a buyer and seller. Thankfully, Kathy represented us on our most recent (and by far most complex) transaction, and I will never go anywhere else. It's difficult to specify the best attribute that she has, but one of my favorites is her no-nonsense honest communication. Most agents, in my experience, will tell you what they think you want to hear - Kathy will tell you the truth, no matter how painful it might be (which it never really is, but you know for certain you're getting her honest thoughts and opinions). She's warm, funny, honest, and one of the hardest working people I've ever met (20 minutes into one conversation years ago prior to having any relationship other than appraiser/agent I found out she was in the middle of vacation in Hawaii - and she still took my call and helped me with comps on a report I was working on - simply amazing). If you chose to have Kathy represent you (and you should!) make sure to ask her about her love of turtle carvings!
